We try to keep feature parity across the SocialRank for Twitter and Instagram products. One feature that has been on Instagram (and not Twitter) for the past year has been the Account Privacy filter. As of today, we’ve added this filter to Twitter as well.
SocialRank’s main goal is to help you identify, segment and do things with your audience – so filters that help you find the right people more easily are the type of tools we want to empower you with. Simply put, this filter let’s you look at just public or private accounts that follow you. Naturally, the content of the private accounts are rightfully not available. The main use case here is if you are a brand looking for people to invite to an event, seed a product to or some other public facing gesture; picking followers that have their settings on public will net more public discussion than private ones.
As always, hit us up at [email protected] if you have any questions, comments, requests, jokes, concerns – we want to hear it all!
